My Story
My journey into development started with a simple desire: I wanted to create a website for my art. What began as fumbling with HTML and CSS late at night turned into a deep love for the craft of building things on the web.
Through college and early career, I gravitated toward full-stack work — I loved understanding the whole picture, from the database queries that power the data to the subtle animation that makes a button feel satisfying to click. I've worked with startups, agencies, and open source projects, always bringing that same sense of care and attention to detail.
The bird fursona thing? That came from the furry community, where I found some of the kindest, most creative people on the internet. My character, Wren, embodies everything I try to bring to my work — warmth, gentleness, and a cozy sense of belonging. I believe the tech we build should make people feel safe and welcome.
These days, I focus on creating design systems and accessible component libraries. I want to help other developers build software that's as inclusive as it is beautiful — software that wraps you up like a warm nest on a cold morning.
